ZETA TAU ALPHA
"Love..the Greatest Of All Things"
Annapolis Alumnae Chapter
At the 1996 Convention, Zeta Tau Alpha made breast cancer
       education and awareness
its national philanthropy. Our Fraternity
supports breast cancer awareness by backing all organizations committed to
breast cancer research, education, screening and treatment.

Each year, members distribute self-breast examination reminder cards and
pink ribbons, co-sponsor Think Pink with the NFL®, volunteer at Race for
the Cure® events nationwide and co-sponsor the Survivor Program for the
Race® series.

For many years, our chapter has donated school supplies to the neediest
schools in Anne Arundel County. Our members also participate in a large
number of service projects, including serving meals at the Lighthouse
Shelter, volunteering at an after school homework club, the Appalachia
Service Project, the Arthritis Foundation, Children’s House at Johns
Hopkins, Habitat for Humanity, Hospice of the Chesapeake, Annapolis
Jaycees, the Make a Wish Foundation, Relay for Life and Special Olympics.
We also participate in the Yoplait Save Lids to Save Lives program. We
worked with local Curves to collect Yoplait yogurt lids. Members also
volunteer, run or walk in the Maryland and National Race for the Cure
events held in Baltimore and Washington, D.C., respectively.
